Meet Jesus
Jesus of Nazareth was śaktyāveśa-avatāra: an empowered incarnation that performed the highest attainment in the Ancient World. This technology is known but nearly lost in modern times. Only a prophet can perform this extraordinary act of mind and will in which the body itself is altered because of the total effect of the choices and actions and planning that have gone into producing the effect. It is a demonstration that the individual has become "of one substance" with Godhead - and this is the reason that Emperor Constantine insisted upon the inclusion of the term "consubstantial" in the Nicene Creed.

Historical Jesus
It is more important that we teach the truth about this central religious figure than that Church traditions should be maintained. Followers of Bishop Arius who were branded as heretics after the Council of Nicaea were probably teaching the truth and not some strange doctrine.
Seek Prophecy
Godhead is working with the Prophet to co-produce a future. Godhead needs eyes and ears within a frame of reference in space/time since all possible futures could be occurring from the perspective of an omnipotent God. That is why a prophet can produce apparent miracles - but to God nothing is difficult.
Effective Prayer
Prayer works when we accept that Godhead is one with ourselves and that we are moving forward into a space/time that is being coproduced from out of consciousness. This is available to everyone and requires only the development of the mind to these purposes.
Tradition
Tradition develops to aid us in the production of Godhead. If some body thereof becomes so preposterous that it cannot be fulfilled God is likely to send a prophet or avatar to update the tradition. This is a natural social function required by humanity to continue culture properly.
The Church
The Church in total exists to promote the teachings of Christ and to be about the proper business of building healthy community. In the United States the proper work of the Church includes all activities found to be lawful non-profit purposes under IRS tax code and any related business activity. We should be engaged as civically-minded citizens.
